It was learned from the Investment Promotion Bureau of Xinping County that Tourism Framework Agreement was signed by Xinping County and Yunnan Ethnic Cultural Tourism Industry Co. Ltd at the signing ceremony of 2017 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair, which laid a firm foundation for becoming one of the second national tourism demonstration organizations.

2017 Yuanjiang Mango Festival will be held from June 23 to June 25 with the theme of “ Golden Mango and Hot Yuanjiang” to propaganda the culture and tourism resources in Yuanjiang County and to upgrade the image of Yuanjiang in which is suitable for avoiding the cold and plenty of fruits.

In recent days, the Press on the Characteristic Towns of Yunnan Province was held. 105 towns were selected on the name list of the Characteristic Towns of Yunnan Province. 6 towns of Yuxi Municipality were on the name list. Guanglong Tourism Town in Chengjiang County was expected to build into characteristic town at the first-class in China. Xi’e Ancient Town in E’shan County, Gasa Town in Xinping County, Yangguang Town in Tonghai County, Hanwuji Town in Chengjiang County and Panxi Town in Huaning County were expected to build into characteristic towns at the first-class in Yunnan Province.

On June 13, Cambodia Delegation visited Yuxi to learn about the economic & social development and new rural construction after they attended 2017 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair.

From June 13 to June 14, the Delegation of Lao People’s Revolutionary Party with 16 persons led by Mr. Com. Phankham VIPHAVANH, Member of Political Bureau of the Central Committee of Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Executive Secretary of Secretariat of the Central Committee and Deputy Chairman of Laos visited Yuxi. 　　At the invitation of the Forum Organizing Committee of the CPC, BRICS Countries, Think-tank and Civil Society Organizations, the Delegation of Lao People’s Revolutionary Party visited China and attended 2017 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair. Yuxi was one of the destinations for visit.

The little farmhouses are surrounded by green ancient woods with blue sky and clear water. The picturesque mountainous village is Baiyi Village at Shijie Township in Yimen County, Yuxi Municipality, Yunnan Province. RMB 3.7 million yuan from county and township levels has been invested to build into beautiful village and demonstration village of nation unity and progress since 2014. More than 200 villagers of 56 households have been organized to improve infrastructure, develop characteristic industry and inherit ethnic culture so that the village becomes famous as a village suitable for living, for business and for tourism. Baiyi Village was enlisted in the second series of China Ethnic Villages with other 11 villages in Yuxi Municipality in April 2017 .

On June 10, Yuxi Promotion Conference of the 15th ASEAN Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Conference was held in Kunming, gathering with overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to enhance friendship and to exchange for further cooperation and common development.

2017 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair had been closed on June 18, 2017, which was lasted for 7 days. Yuxi Trade Delegation successfully finished preparations for exhibition and participated in the fair. The investment agreements with a total of RMB 7.65 billion yuan and the trade agreements with a total of 1.03 billion yuan were signed.

In recent days, the journalist took a photo about 72 corners at Panshan Road, 10 kilometers from Lvzhi Town in Yimen County, Yunnan Province. The main project of the road from Yimen downtown to Chahe had been finished. It took 18 months to build the road and the whole mileage was 58 kilometers. The journalist felt steady and comfortable when driving on the road although there were many corners since there were fender walls and W-beam barriers.

In recent days, Mr. Wu Yushen，Deputy Secretary of Yimen County Committee and Head of Yimen County Government, Yunnan Province, paid a special investigation in the planning for rural tourism road at Baiyi Village in Shijie Township, Yimen County, Yuxi Municipality, Yunnan Province. Mr. Wu Yushen pointed out that rural tourism road at Baiyi Village should be built into a way to landscape, a way to wealth and a way to happiness.
