At 7:52 am on November 5th, a dynamic detection train departed Kunming Station. After comprehensively testing the works, electricity and power supply from Kunming to Mohan Station along the China-Laos Railway, it arrived at Mohan at 12:10. Dynamic testing is a comprehensive test of all systems on the entire line using specially designed trains and testing equipment and is performed at a preset testing speed. The dynamic test gives a comprehensive assessment of the route and its safety and is an important step before the railway is opened for use, helping to ensure that the China-Laos Railway can be opened for use according to schedule. The China-Laos Railway is a railway running between China and Laos, and is an important part of the Trans-Asian Railway's central line. The China-Laos Railway starts in the north from Yuxi City, Yunnan Province in China and passes through Pu'er City, Xishuangbanna and Mohan at the China-Laos border. It then passes through Luang Prabang, a famous tourist attraction in Laos, and eventually arrives in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Source: Yuxi Release
