From August 8th to 10th, the 2025 Yunnan Provincial Square Dance (Fitness Aerobics) Competition was staged splendidly at the Nie'er Square in Yuxi. As a fitness form with a solid mass foundation, square dance has become an important carrier of national fitness. Yunnan Province actively responds to the national call, organizing competitions as a link to promote further development of national fitness. Yuxi City took the initiative to host this provincial-level event, aiming to guide its people to take part in scientific fitness and make the national strategy of national fitness take root at the grassroots level.

On the evening of October 5th, the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Huadeng Show to Celebrate National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival" organized by the Hongta District Bureau of Culture and Tourism was staged brilliantly at the former site of Wenxingxiang. Yuanjiang County has a dry-hot valley climate with no winter and no frost all year round. In recent years, the county has anchored the goal of "synergistically promoting ecological protection and industrial development," and has worked diligently in areas such as agricultural industrial upgrading, tourism format innovation, and resource-protective development. This has allowed 129,800 hectares of dry-hot valley land to retain its ecological background while releasing economic vitality, delivering a "hot zone characteristic" development answer sheet and becoming one of Yunnan's first pilot counties for the protective development of dry-hot valleys.

Under the blue sky and white clouds, the Phoenix Building, located in Xingfu Town, Daying Street, Hongta District, stands by the water with a graceful reflection. In 2024, Xingfu Town was selected as one of the "First Batch of Yunnan Golden Tourism Villages," "Baicui Street" opened for operation, and at the same time, it successfully held characteristic festivals such as "A Life Called Yunnan - Yuxi Village Festival," achieving a tourism income of 4.98 million yuan. On September 7th, the Global South World Heritage Forum was held at the Chengjiang Fossil Site World Natural Heritage Museum.
