Yuxi Agricultural Products Opened the Door to International Markets
Recently, the reporter learned from Yuxi Customs that from January to April this year, the export value of agricultural products in Yuxi reached 334 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13%. Among them, vegetable exports were 265 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%, accounting for 20% of Yunnan's vegetable export value; flower exports were 56.51 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28%; fruit exports were 9.92 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 206.2%. The overall growth is steady and the situation is positive.
Relying on its superior natural environment, Yuxi has vigorously promoted green planting and promoted the large-scale and standardized development of plateau characteristic agriculture. Tonghai vegetables, Huaning oranges, Yuanjiang mangoes, etc. have become "Yuxi business cards" and opened the door to international markets.
Recently, many residents have visited Nie Er Music Town to explore the new attraction. Located at the intersection of Nie Er Road and Qiyang Road, the town is a comprehensive cultural, commercial, and tourism complex integrating cultural exhibitions, commercial operations, and leisure tourism. On March 17, during the critical period of spring plowing and preparation, aerial photos taken by reporters over the fields in Tonghai County, Yuxi City, presented a vibrant spring farming scene. The fields were a hive of activity, as farmers were racing against the farming season to carry out spring cultivation. In the early morning of November 12th, just as dawn broke, the surrounding areas of Yuxi's central urban district were enveloped in a thin layer of mist and clouds. Captured by a drone, the mist and clouds looked like loosened cotton wool, gently wrapping half of the city's buildings.
