At an altitude of 2615 meters in the Mopan Mountain National Forest Park, the Holy Fire Platform hosted the "Thousands of Families, Auspicious Fire, Unity of All Ethnic Groups" Yi Torch Festival, igniting the "first fire" of the traditional Yi Torch Festival in Xinping County for the year 2023. At 8 p.m., this sacred fire kindled the giant torch on the ethnic square, creating a summer "fireworks atmosphere" in the county.
