The First Kunpeng Cloud Platform in Yunnan Province went online on June 18th, 2020, at the Huawei China Ecotourism 2020·Yunnan Summit in Chengjiang, Yuxi Municipality. This new project marks a new depth of cooperation between Yuxi and Huawei, and ushers in a new era in Yuxi’s digital economy. This means Yuxi Huawei Cloud data can achieve full security from chip to platform software. This added security has facilitated the transfer of key Yuxi government business systems to the cloud platform to be completed by the end of 2020. The remaining government business systems will be adapted and migrated to the new Kunpeng Cloud Platform within the next three years bringing support for a high-quality “Digital Yunnan”. The Yuxi Planning Museum is located to the northeast of the intersection of Yuhe Road and Yujiang Avenue in Hongta District in the Yuxi Municipality. The museum covers a total area of 26 mu or 1.73 hectares while the structure has a total area of 19,843 square meters. With a total investment of 201.25 million yuan the project was officially launched in January 2017. It was completed and ready for a trial opening on September 30, 2019, and officially opened to the public for free on June 10, 2020. The Museum has a large comprehensive exhibition hall which integrates Yuxi’s history, culture, geography, achievements in economic and social development, as well as achievements in planning and construction. It is not only a platform for citizens to understand and participate in and supervise the implementation of planning, but also it serves as an important window for the CPC Yuxi Municipal Committee and Yuxi Municipal People’s Government to attract investment and draw good publicity. Since the beginning of summer, lotus flowers have blossomed in the lotus farm on the north bank of Fuxian Lake. Workers have begun harvesting lotus seeds. A total of 123 counties, cities and districts nationwide, have been designated as National Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Demonstration Zones, according to the 5th released evaluation results by the National Health Commission.
