Yuxi, a city located in the south and central Yunnan Province, whose economic growth rate of 2016 was 7.6 percent and 9.3 percent in 2017,is working on its transportation infrastructure in recent years. "The improvement of transportation infrastructure is an important reason for the acceleration of economic growth in Yuxi city in recent years, and the foundation of high-quality development in the future is also in traffic." According to Zhang Dehua, Yuxi belongs to the hinterland of central Yunnan, 88 kilometers away from the provincial capital Kunming, and now has two expressways, one under construction and one in planning. Recently, the Historical and Cultural Gallery of Honghe Overseas Chinese Farm, located in Lijiang Sub-district of Yuanjiang County, was officially opened to the public.
