Recently, at the Yuanjiang China-Laos Railway Cross-Border Logistics Industrial Park, staff from the Yuanjiang Workstation of Yuxi Customs were carefully inspecting exported fruits. It is reported that the first phase of the industrial park has completed the construction of infrastructure such as a customs inspection area, a comprehensive building, an intelligent system, and supporting roads within the park. In June 2024, the first customs workstation operating on a regular basis ｉｎ　Ｙｕｎｎａｎ　Ｐｒｏｖｉｎｃｅwas inaugurated here, undertaking the local customs inspection business for exported agricultural products such as fruits and vegetables to Thailand. As of June 30, 2025, it has completed a total of 4,488 vehicle-loads of centralized inspection for fruits exported to Thailand, totaling 94,700 tons with a value of 730 million yuan; it has also fostered dozens of relevant enterprises, and registered 38 outbound fruit orchards covering an area of 61,000 mu.

On October 17, at the Citrus Industry Development After-Service Center in Huaxi Town, Huaying County, workers were busy sorting and selecting citrus fruits. In recent years, the citrus industry in Huaning County has accelerated its development pace and made significant efforts to expand its presence in foreign markets. From January to September this year, the county's total sales volume of citrus fruits reached 506,300 tons, with a cumulative total of 81,000 tons exported, resulting in export transaction values of 545 million yuan, representing year-over-year growth of 22.7% and 32.9%, respectively.

On October 16, during the 18th China-South Asia Business Forum and the Yuxi City 2025 Trade and Investment Promotion Conference, the municipal government organized the 2025 Yunnan (Yuxi) Fruit and Vegetable Industry Supply and Demand Matching Conference and special promotional sessions for the industries of equipment manufacturing, building materials, and food processing. Yuanjiang County has a dry-hot valley climate with no winter and no frost all year round. In recent years, the county has anchored the goal of "synergistically promoting ecological protection and industrial development," and has worked diligently in areas such as agricultural industrial upgrading, tourism format innovation, and resource-protective development. This has allowed 129,800 hectares of dry-hot valley land to retain its ecological background while releasing economic vitality, delivering a "hot zone characteristic" development answer sheet and becoming one of Yunnan's first pilot counties for the protective development of dry-hot valleys.

Under the blue sky and white clouds, the Phoenix Building, located in Xingfu Town, Daying Street, Hongta District, stands by the water with a graceful reflection. After the completion of the first, second, and third phases of the project, Xingfu Town has created areas such as a rural living market experience zone, a rural folk custom experience zone, and a rural food street. It has also built supporting cultural and sports facilities including the Huixi Memory Exhibition Hall and the Yingyue Lake Sports Park. In 2024, Xingfu Town was selected as one of the "First Batch of Yunnan Golden Tourism Villages," "Baicui Street" opened for operation, and at the same time, it successfully held characteristic festivals such as "A Life Called Yunnan - Yuxi Village Festival," achieving a tourism income of 4.98 million yuan. On September 7th, the Global South World Heritage Forum was held at the Chengjiang Fossil Site World Natural Heritage Museum.
