On July 31, the themed event “Raising the National Flag and Singing the National Anthem Together” was held at Nie Er Square in the hometown of Nie Er, warmly celebrating the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA). Currently, the 10,000-mu ecological tea garden at Yuncha Manor in Eshan County has entered the prime season for spring tea picking. Tea farmers are racing against time to harvest fresh tea leaves. Tea pickers dressed in Yi ethnic costumes form a picturesque scene on the tea hills, attracting many tourists to experience tea picking. In addition to integrating ethnic culture into tea gardens to promote the integrated development of agriculture, culture and tourism, Yuncha Manor has also introduced advanced domestic intelligent digital-controlled production lines. It has cooperated with universities to build an Internet of Things platform, advancing the standardization and digitalization of tea production. On March 17, during the critical period of spring plowing and preparation, aerial photos taken by reporters over the fields in Tonghai County, Yuxi City, presented a vibrant spring farming scene. The fields were a hive of activity, as farmers were racing against the farming season to carry out spring cultivation.
