From November 17 to 19, the 2023 China International Tourism Fair, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Yunnan Provincial Government, was held in Kunming. Yuxi Culture and Tourism Bureau participated with more than 30 cultural tourism enterprises to show Yuxi cultural tourism style from multiple angles. During the exhibition, scenic spots and hotels such as Xinpingmo Panshan National Forest Park, Yuxi Yingyue Tan Xiuxian Cultural Center, and Yuxi Pullman Hotel actively promoted and promoted in a three-dimensional and vivid form, attracting a large number of tourists' attention.

From November 5 to 10, the sixth China International Import Expo was held in Shanghai. 309 people from 113 companies in Yuxi registered for this event, and nearly 200 people participated in the meeting. At the same time, the relevant departments and counties (cities and districts) also took the opportunity to participate in the Expo to actively increase investment promotion work and visit enterprises in relevant fields in Shanghai to seek cooperation and development.

Recently, the villagers of Dulang Group in Longtan Community, Lijiang Street, Yuanjiang County, are enjoying themselves under the micro-landscape of ancient trees. Durang is a typical Dai village, surrounded by dense forests of ancient trees, with as many as 81 century-old trees listed and numbered. Relying on its unique century-old tree resources and national culture, the village built a beautiful and livable rural construction project of "Dulang Small Yard", and accelerated the in-depth integration of agriculture, culture and tourism.

Yuanjiang Hani, Yi and Dai Autonomous County is located in the south of Yuxi in central Yunnan, 220 kilometers from the provincial capital Kunming. With a total area of 2,858 square kilometers, Yuanjiang governs the sub-streets of Lijiang, Honghe and Ganzhuang as well as the towns Yinyuan, Manlai, Yangjie Township, Nanuo Township, Wadi Township, Mili Township, and Longtan Township while also governing 81 villages (communities) and 765 village (resident) groups. The altitude of the region ranges from 327 meters to 2580 meters above sea level. There is an annual average temperature of 25.8℃, annual rainfall of 375 mm and annual sunshine hours of 2538.6 hours. At the end of 2019, there was a resident population of 224,600, of which 97,600 are urban residents. The urbanization rate is 43.45%, and 173,693 are ethnic minorities, accounting for 82.12%.

Yimen County is located at the junction between Yuxi, Kunming and Chuxiong. It is 94 km from Kunming and 145 km from Yuxi. With a total area of 1,526.57 square kilometers, Yimen governs Longquan Sub-district, Liujie Sub-district, Lüzhi Town, Pubei Township, Shijie Township, Tongchang Township and Xiaojie Township. It is endowed with abundant wind, water, solar energy resources as well as forests, minerals and other natural resources. The complex topography crisscrossed by mountains and valleys has formed a three-dimensional climate of “Four Seasons on One Mountain and Different Weather in Ten Miles”. Yimen also has a great ecological environment and high biodiversity. Liujie Town is set up as a nature reserve for incense cedar, and the Huashan pine forest in Tongchang has been selected by the provincial forestry department as the seed production base of Huashan pine in Yunnan. More than 100 kinds of wild animals are active in the high mountains, valleys and plains. More than 300 kinds of wild mushrooms can be found in the forests. Of these, 70 kinds of edible wild mushrooms are famous throughout the province for their wide variety, large quantity, high quality and fantastic taste. Yimen is regarded as “the Hometown of Mushrooms”, and listed as a Yunnan Wild Edible Mushroom Trading Center. There are abundant reserves of copper, iron, cobalt, tungsten, lead, zinc and uranium, as well as kaolin (porcelain clay), gypsum, marble, granite and limestone. Yimen County has been named a National Pilot Demonstration County for Circular Economy, Architectural Ceramics Production Base in Southwest China, Yunnan Wild Edible Mushroom Trading Center, Industrial County for Key Cultivation in Yunnan Province, Characteristic Industrial Base for High-tech Development, Demonstration Base for New Industrialization Industries, High-tech Industrial Development Zone, National Ecological Demonstration Zone, National Sanitary County, National Garden County, County of Chinese Couplet Culture, Provincial Civilization County and Provincial Safety County.

Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County is located in the southwest of Central Yunnan, at the eastern foot of the middle section of Ailaoshan Mountains and the southwest of Yuxi City, 180 kilometers from Kunming City and 90 kilometers from Yuxi City. The county covers an area of 4,223 square kilometers, and governs 124 village (neighborhood) committees of 6 townships, 4 towns and 2 sub-districts, and 1,468 village (neighborhood) groups. The registered population is 292,000 people, among which the Yi and Dai ethnic groups account for 65.4% of the total population of the county. It is the largest settlement of the Huayaodai ethnic group in China and is known as "the Hometown of Huayaodai". Xinping also enjoys the reputation of “the Hometown of Chu Oranges”, “World Center for the Distribution of Hippocrested Gibbon” and “China's Natural Oxygen Bar". Xinping County is rich in minerals, hydro-energy, biological and tourist resources, with proven reserves of 540 million tons of iron ore, 1.475 million tons of copper and 1.9 billion cubic meters of water resources. The county's forest coverage rate is 64.6%. Mopan Mountain Forest Park has been rated as a National 4A Tourist Attraction, and the Ailaoshan Mountains National Nature Reserve has been listed as the UN’s "Man and Biosphere" Forest Ecosystem Positioning Observation Station and the International Migratory Bird Protection Base. Xinping has been awarded “National Sanitary County”, “National Modern Agriculture Demonstration Zone”, “National All-for-One Tourism Demonstration Establishment Unit”, “National Science Popularization Demonstration County”, “Sports Tourism High-quality Scenic Spot of China”, “National Garden County”, “Provincial Civilization County”, “National Advanced Model Collective for Ethnic Unity and Progress”, “China's Most Beautiful County for Leisure, Holiday and Tourism” and “National Model Unit of Afforestation” awards. Xinping has been recognized as a “Beautiful County of Yunnan Province” by the Yunnan Provincial People’s Government. It has been listed as one of the "Top 10 Counties" for county economic development in the whole province. In 2019, Xinping’s GDP reached RMB 19.72 billion. The local fiscal revenue was RMB 2.06 billion, including RMB 1.30 billion of the general public budget revenue. The local fiscal expenditure is RMB 3.74 billion, the general public budget expenditure of which is RMB 3.65 billion. The investment in fixed assets above the designated scale is RMB 6.37 billion. The per capita disposable income of urban residents was RMB 40,494, and that of rural residents was RMB 14,807. The retail sales of consumer goods totaled RMB 3.05 billion.

Tonghai County borders Huaning County to the east, E’shan County and Hongta District to the west, Shiping County and Jianshui County of Honghe Prefecture to the south, and Jiangchuan County to the north. It is 125 kilometers from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province and is 47 kilometers from Hongta District, the seat of Yuxi Municipal People’s Government. The county covers an area of 721 square kilometers, governs 4 towns, 3 townships, 2 sub-districts, 49 administrative villages and 27 communities. It has a resident population of 311,700. The primary ethnic groups in Tonghai are Han, Yi, Hui, Mongolian, Hani with other ethnicities also present. With a forest coverage rate of 52.2%, Tonghai has a mild climate and numerous scenic spots. Xiushan is one of the “Four Famous Mountains” in Yunnan, and Qilu Lake one of the “Nine Plateau Lakes” in Yunnan. These features combined with the beautiful city form a real-life scroll painting. Tonghai is famous for its splendid history, rich culture and folk customs. Colorful folk arts such as High Platform and Dongjing Music are listed as part of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage. Influenced by Confucian ritual and music and the Central Plains Culture, there were more than 230 successful candidates in the provincial imperial examinations and 44 successful candidates in the highest imperial examinations during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Of these, 4 people were elected to the Imperial Academy. Known as "the Most Beautiful Place in South Yunnan", "Famous State for Etiquette and Music" and "Crown of the South", Tonghai has successively won many titles for its history and culture as well as for its agricultural development, economic development and work in education. In recent years, the whole county has adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and maintained a good situation of economic development, improvement of people's livelihood, and social harmony. In 2019, the GDP of Tonghai reached RMB15.677 billion, an increase of 8.9%. Of these, fixed asset investment decreased by 5.5%; the value added of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 18.2%. General public budget revenue was RMB 395 million, a decrease of 23.2%. Total retail sales of consumer goods was RMB 4.268 billion, an increase of 11.8% while per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents reached RMB 40,720 and RMB18,162, an increase of 8.1% and 10.5% respectively.

Jiangchuan District is situated in the east of central Yunnan, bordering Huaning to the east, Tonghai to the south, Hongta District to the west, and Jinning and Chengjiang to the north. It is 100 kilometers from the provincial capital Kunming and 21 kilometers from the urban area of Yuxi City. The total area is 850 square kilometers, accounting for 2.16% of the province. Jiangchuan District governs 1 sub-district, 4 towns and 2 townships, 76 villages (communities) and 472 village (residents) groups. The district has a resident population of 284,800.

Huaning is located in central Yunnan, on the east bank of Fuxian Lake and on the west side of Nanpan River, 53 kilometers from Hongta District, and 148 kilometers from the provincial capital Kunming. With a total area of 1,313 square kilometers and a total population of 220,000 in 75 villages (communities), Huaning is a typical mountainous agricultural county. Mountain areas account for 89% of the total land area. Huaning is endowed with a long history, rich resources and outstanding people. It is an ecological agriculture demonstration county, a main planting area of fine tobacco, a high-quality walnut base in Yunnan Province, and a phosphorous chemical production base in Yunnan Province. It enjoys a good reputation for hot springs, tasty oranges and beautiful pottery. In 2019, the GDP of Huaning reached RMB11.5 billion, an increase of 9.6%. Of these, the value added of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 20.7% and the fixed asset investment above designated size increased by 3.9%. Total retail sales of consumer goods was RMB 2.59 billion, an increase of 12% while per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents reached RMB 40,127 and RMB15,381, an increase of 8.3% and 10.1% respectively.

E'shan is the first Yi autonomous county in China and the first place in Yunnan Province to implement regional ethnic autonomy. The county governs 76 villages (communities) in 2 sub-districts, 3 towns, and 3 townships. There are 25 ethnic groups such as Yi, Han and Hani with a total area of 1972 square kilometers and a total population of 170,200. Farmers account for 80% of the total population, and the mountainous area accounts for 96% of the total area. E'shan is endowed with a long history and outstanding people, as well as a good ecology and rich natural resources. The Bamboo Garden of Yi People's Valley and Gaoxiang Tea Garden are both beautiful and peaceful. Except for its good climate, E'shan is also rich in natural resources. There is an iron ore reserve of 89.78 million tons, coal reserves are 30 million tons, and copper reserves are 4.75 million tons. There are more than 1,500 kinds of plants and more than 100 wild animals that grow here, and its forest coverage rate reaches 68%. The cultural treasures of the Yi nationality are fascinating and are based on the “Six Yi” culture, namely ancestors, towns, medicine, fire, drums, and embroidery. E'shan is the holy land of the ancestors of the Yi people. The ancestor of the Yi people was Apu Dumu, his six sons Mu Yaqie, Mu Yakao, Mu Yare, Mu Yawo, Mu Keke, and Mu Qiqi each started 6 ancient Yi tribes, known as the "six ancestors of the Yi ethnic group. E'shan was awarded the Hometown of Chinese Folk Art for the Yi Huagu Dance. In 2019, the GDP of E'shan reached RMB11.255 billion, an increase of 10%. Of these, the fixed asset investment above designated size was RMB7.994 billion, an increase of 2.3%. Total retail sales of consumer goods was RMB2.23 billion, an increase of 12.2% while per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents reached RMB 40,927 and RMB 14,404, an increase of 8.1% and 10.4% respectively.
