Recently, the villagers of Dulang Group in Longtan Community, Lijiang Street, Yuanjiang County, are enjoying themselves under the micro-landscape of ancient trees. Durang is a typical Dai village, surrounded by dense forests of ancient trees, with as many as 81 century-old trees listed and numbered. Relying on its unique century-old tree resources and national culture, the village built a beautiful and livable rural construction project of "Dulang Small Yard", and accelerated the in-depth integration of agriculture, culture and tourism.

Yuanjiang Hani, Yi and Dai Autonomous County is located in the south of Yuxi in central Yunnan, 220 kilometers from the provincial capital Kunming. With a total area of 2,858 square kilometers, Yuanjiang governs the sub-streets of Lijiang, Honghe and Ganzhuang as well as the towns Yinyuan, Manlai, Yangjie Township, Nanuo Township, Wadi Township, Mili Township, and Longtan Township while also governing 81 villages (communities) and 765 village (resident) groups. Yimen County is located at the junction between Yuxi, Kunming and Chuxiong. It is 94 km from Kunming and 145 km from Yuxi. With a total area of 1,526.57 square kilometers, Yimen governs Longquan Sub-district, Liujie Sub-district, Lüzhi Town, Pubei Township, Shijie Township, Tongchang Township and Xiaojie Township. It is endowed with abundant wind, water, solar energy resources as well as forests, minerals and other natural resources. There are abundant reserves of copper, iron, cobalt, tungsten, lead, zinc and uranium, as well as kaolin (porcelain clay), gypsum, marble, granite and limestone. Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County is located in the southwest of Central Yunnan, at the eastern foot of the middle section of Ailaoshan Mountains and the southwest of Yuxi City, 180 kilometers from Kunming City and 90 kilometers from Yuxi City. The county covers an area of 4,223 square kilometers, and governs 124 village (neighborhood) committees of 6 townships, 4 towns and 2 sub-districts, and 1,468 village (neighborhood) groups. The registered population is 292,000 people, among which the Yi and Dai ethnic groups account for 65.4% of the total population of the county. It is the largest settlement of the Huayaodai ethnic group in China and is known as "the Hometown of Huayaodai". Xinping also enjoys the reputation of “the Hometown of Chu Oranges”, “World Center for the Distribution of Hippocrested Gibbon” and “China's Natural Oxygen Bar". Xinping County is rich in minerals, hydro-energy, biological and tourist resources, with proven reserves of 540 million tons of iron ore, 1.475 million tons of copper and 1.9 billion cubic meters of water resources. The local fiscal revenue was RMB 2.06 billion, including RMB 1.30 billion of the general public budget revenue. The local fiscal expenditure is RMB 3.74 billion, the general public budget expenditure of which is RMB 3.65 billion. The investment in fixed assets above the designated scale is RMB 6.37 billion. Tonghai County borders Huaning County to the east, E’shan County and Hongta District to the west, Shiping County and Jianshui County of Honghe Prefecture to the south, and Jiangchuan County to the north. It is 125 kilometers from Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province and is 47 kilometers from Hongta District, the seat of Yuxi Municipal People’s Government. The county covers an area of 721 square kilometers, governs 4 towns, 3 townships, 2 sub-districts, 49 administrative villages and 27 communities. It has a resident population of 311,700. The primary ethnic groups in Tonghai are Han, Yi, Hui, Mongolian, Hani with other ethnicities also present. With a forest coverage rate of 52.2%, Tonghai has a mild climate and numerous scenic spots. Influenced by Confucian ritual and music and the Central Plains Culture, there were more than 230 successful candidates in the provincial imperial examinations and 44 successful candidates in the highest imperial examinations during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Known as "the Most Beautiful Place in South Yunnan", "Famous State for Etiquette and Music" and "Crown of the South", Tonghai has successively won many titles for its history and culture as well as for its agricultural development, economic development and work in education. General public budget revenue was RMB 395 million, a decrease of 23.2%. Jiangchuan District is situated in the east of central Yunnan, bordering Huaning to the east, Tonghai to the south, Hongta District to the west, and Jinning and Chengjiang to the north. It is 100 kilometers from the provincial capital Kunming and 21 kilometers from the urban area of Yuxi City. The total area is 850 square kilometers, accounting for 2.16% of the province. Huaning is located in central Yunnan, on the east bank of Fuxian Lake and on the west side of Nanpan River, 53 kilometers from Hongta District, and 148 kilometers from the provincial capital Kunming. With a total area of 1,313 square kilometers and a total population of 220,000 in 75 villages (communities), Huaning is a typical mountainous agricultural county. Mountain areas account for 89% of the total land area. Huaning is endowed with a long history, rich resources and outstanding people. E'shan is the first Yi autonomous county in China and the first place in Yunnan Province to implement regional ethnic autonomy. The county governs 76 villages (communities) in 2 sub-districts, 3 towns, and 3 townships. There are 25 ethnic groups such as Yi, Han and Hani with a total area of 1972 square kilometers and a total population of 170,200. Farmers account for 80% of the total population, and the mountainous area accounts for 96% of the total area. E'shan is endowed with a long history and outstanding people, as well as a good ecology and rich natural resources. The Bamboo Garden of Yi People's Valley and Gaoxiang Tea Garden are both beautiful and peaceful. Except for its good climate, E'shan is also rich in natural resources. There is an iron ore reserve of 89.78 million tons, coal reserves are 30 million tons, and copper reserves are 4.75 million tons. There are more than 1,500 kinds of plants and more than 100 wild animals that grow here, and its forest coverage rate reaches 68%. E'shan is the holy land of the ancestors of the Yi people. The ancestor of the Yi people was Apu Dumu, his six sons Mu Yaqie, Mu Yakao, Mu Yare, Mu Yawo, Mu Keke, and Mu Qiqi each started 6 ancient Yi tribes, known as the "six ancestors of the Yi ethnic group.
