The Cloud Sea on Ailao Mountain

On November 8, many tourists and photographers waited early at the Sunrise Observation platform of Ailao Mountain in Yaonan Village, Gasa Town, Xinping County. At sunrise, a red sun rose slowly from the mountains, and moving clouds curled around the verdant mountains. Tourists have pressed the shutter to memorize this moment. Every year from November to March, it is the "golden" period to watch the sunrise above the sea of clouds on Ailao Mountain.
