In every city, there is a building with an imprint on it. Hongta is a small town named after a red tower. Around this tower, the city below the hill has undergone great changes over a long course of time. The Bo people lived and multiplied in this beautiful and rich land more than 300 BC. This place has changed names many times, from "Yuyuan" in the Han Dynasty and "Xiuna" in the Song Dynasty, "Xinxing" in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and then from "Yuxi" in the Republic of China to today's Hongta (Red Tower). History has played a colorful role in this land.
