It has 276 frost-free days and 17 frost days, annual average sunshine 2,286.3 hours and 52% of sunshine rate, annual total solar radiation 128.079 kilocalorie per square centimeter. In 2014, the balance of deposit and loan of all financial institutions in the county reached 10.54 billion yuan and the loan balance amounted to 7.47 billion yuan. The county realized GDP 7.9 billion yuan and local revenue 500 million yuan. Total sales of consumer goods was 2.38 billion yuan. Fix asset investment reached 2.7 billion yuan. The average dispensable income of urban residents reached 27,062 yuan and the average dispensable income of rural residents reached 11,475 yuan. The construction will follow the earthquake-resistance level 8. It enjoys the preferential policies of the state’s development of the western regions.
