Introduction

The project has a planned area of 353 mu.  Well-known corporations have been introduced to the central business district to establish the urban complex integrated with commerce, working, living, hotel, exhibition, catering and meeting and cultural recreation. The construction items include large-scale department stores, hypermarkets, international brand discount stores, commodity brand name stores and malls for furniture and decorative materials, skating rink, international food city, game center, cinecitta, catering and accommodations, and various exclusive shops selling gold and jewelry, domestic ceramics, handiworks, clothing, shoes and hats, household appliances, all kinds of specialties and providing medical and health services. The project has a total estimated investment of RMB1.2 billion yuan and a construction period of 2 years.

Implementation Principle

The land parcel meets the requirements for comprehensive planning of land utilization and urban construction.

Construction Condition

The construction site is comparatively wide, convenient for traffic with obvious locations for entrances and exits; it is under good topographic and geologic conditions for planning and construction; the municipal facility conditions absolutely satisfy the requirements for construction.

Supply of Main and Supplementary Materialsand Availability of Labor Resources

The raw materials like sand-gravel materials, cement, rebar and red bricks can be purchased locally at comparatively lower prices. The project is located at the county region, so water, electricity, gas and other auxiliary materials are in sufficient supply.  The prices of water and electricity are set according to the relevant standards in Yuxi City. The labor force can be acquired nearby with the average price of about RMB75 yuan per day.

First-Phase Preparations and Progress

The land utilization planning has been finished and the procedures for land in the project have been sufficient.

Environmental Impact

Necessary measures should be taken to control the diffusion of pollutants like spoiling, dust-raising, and noise during the construction period. The third-level filtration septic-tank should be adopted when the project is put into operation to purify  sewage, and household trash should be put into concentrated dumpsters and should be sent to designated places by sanitation departments for unified disposal.  The project shall be strictly in accordance with the relevant national standards and requirements for environmental protection.
