On October 1st, a vibrant children's physical fitness obstacle challenge was held at Sanqiancheng Shopping Park in Hongta District. The atmosphere was enthusiastic, with hundreds of children and parents gathering, adding more popularity to the lively business district. Organized by the Yuxi Municipal Bureau of Education and Sports, the competition was tailor-made for children. Through obstacle challenges, it not only enhances children's physical fitness and coordination but also cultivates their teamwork abilities, which is of great significance to the physical and mental health development of children.

On the morning of October 1st, the 2025 National Day flag-raising and national anthem-singing event themed "Singing the Same Song, Being the Same Family" was held at Nie'er Square in Yuxi City. People from all walks of life in Yuxi, citizens, and some foreign tourists gathered here to offer their most sincere blessings for the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

On April 19th, the 2nd Cuoke Watermelon Festival was held in Ganzhuang Street, Yuanjiang County. Using watermelons as a medium and the festival as a platform to make friends, it showcased the development achievements of watermelon industry in Cuoke and shared the joy of watermelon harvest. Cuoke Village has been growing watermelons since 1992. Thanks to its climatic advantages of abundant sunshine and large temperature differences between day and night, the watermelons grown here are highly favored by consumers for their sweet taste, large size, and juicy flesh. In 2025, Cuoke Village expanded its watermelon planting area by approximately 100 mu, bringing the total area to over 300 mu. Households engaged in watermelon cultivation account for 75% of the village's permanent population. With continuous improvements in planting techniques, each mu of watermelon field yields about 2 tons of watermelons, generating an output value of 3.6 million yuan.                                       

A few days ago, Yuxi City Tonghai County Dashu Community 5th "fish Festival · Long street banquet" was held alongside Qilu Lake for tourists to experience interesting farming. Dashu community has held "Fish Festival · Long Street Banquet" activities for five years, through the integration of agriculture and tourism, to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional agriculture to sightseeing agriculture and leisure agriculture, and to create a new model of experiential rural tourism.
