Introduction |
The main peak area of the Longma Mountain and the area of the Longma stone forest are to be integrated and constructed into an eco-park. The project is planned to provide tourists with such activities around Hongta District and Kunming as climbing mountains, appreciating the stone forest, paragliding. It is aimed at digging the culture of karst mountainous areas, mixing the culture with the healthy, positive elements implied by “the vigor of dragon and horse”, and displaying the natural scenery and cultural connotation of the Longma Mountain. In the meantime, the construction scale will be controlled to protect the vegetation landscape of the mountain in accordance with the protection requirements for natural conservation areas. The control area of the scenic spot is 800mu and the construction area of the facilities is 2,600m2. The project is planned to be completed in 3-4 years. |

Construction Condition |
The Longma Mountain is towering, precipitous, peculiar, with a main peak as high as 2,438m above the sea level. Overlooking from the mountain top, one can have a panoramic view of Hongta district, where the vegetation coverage is high, the sightseeing area is large, the natural scenes and resources are rich. Here, the vegetation and mountains are protected intact, because it is situated in the Hongta Natural Conservation Area. North to the Longma Mountain, the small Longma stone forest is full of jagged rocks of grotesque shapes, and many attracts like Gufengchayun, Kongquekaiping, Guaishouxiangdou, Jinguiwangtian, Shenshanyaonong, Xiaoshitianpeng, and Chengmendongkai. With a peculiar scenery, the stone forest is worth seeing, traveling, relaxing. In 2014 in Hongta District, the regional GDP reached RMB61.745 billion, the district GDP amounted to RMB23.22 billion, the local fiscal revenue aggregated to RMB2.812 billion, the per capital GDP was still the highest across Yunnan Province. The district has been listed among the top ten economy-prosperous counties of Yunnan Province for seven consecutive years. |

Supply of Main and Supplementary Materials and Availability of Labor Resources |
The project site is rich in exploited and not-yet-exploited geothermal resources. The principal raw materials of the project, such as cement, steel, are supplied, purchased, transported locally. The comprehensive average price of non-domestic water supply is RMB4.7/m3; the electricity price is determined according to the current standard of Yuxi City; and the labor force within the region is ample and can satisfy the construction requirement. |

On July 21st, workers were busy among the lush potted flowers in the intelligent flower planting greenhouse of Yuxi Ziyu Flower Industry Co., Ltd. This company is a leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization engaged in the production and sales of rose seedlings, potted roses, potted succulents and potted phalaenopsis. With a very productive operation mode, this company has built a research and development platform in cooperation with multiple scientific research institutes, and owns 17 national patents. Flowers from Yuxi are sold far to first-tier and second-tier cities across China and have become a well-known brand in Yunnan's flower industry.
Recently, visitors to Yimen have noticed a café in Luzhi Town, which looks exactly like a tape recorder. With 3.5 meters wide, 10 meters long, and weighing 6 tons, it perfectly replicates the iconic dual-cassette tape recorder from the 1980s, and the owner continuously plays pop music from the 1980s, attracting an increasing number of netizens and tourists to explore it. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom at Hongtashan Park, attracting visitors with its springtime spectacle. Every year when the cherry blossoms bloom, Hongtashan Park draws a large number of tourists.
