The Time Plank Road beside Fuxian Lake
The latest news from the county Fuxian Lake Authority is that the time plank road besides the Fuxian Lake was completed, with a total length of about 28 kilometers. The brand-new look and environment of the lake-shore provides more pro-lake space for the public. The 3-meter-wide plank road sometimes passes through the woods, and sometimes stands in the water as if you are walking right in the lake. When taking a stroll in it, you can breathe the beauty of Fuxian Lake at just one glance.
As an ecological scenery corridor with a total length of about 28 kilometers and width of 3 meters, this plank road starts from Jianshan Primary School on the west and ends at Dashidong Village on the east, costing an investment about RMB120 million. What’s more, scenery spots along the road are as follows, Ecological Wetland beside North-shore of Fuxian Lake, Forest Sea Park, Moon Bay Wetland, and Sakura Valley, providing beautiful cultural landscape along with the scene of pure sea and blue sky.

According to the person in charge of this project, the construction of the plank road includes new ecological gallery road, bike lane, the reconstruction of former facilities, scenic spots, landscaping facilities and afforestation projects. The project comprehensively evaluated the environmental carrying capacity of the northern shore of Fuxian Lake, and fully out-spotted the local culture, and created beautiful scenery with good landscape resources. Also, it improves the Fuxian Lake tourism facilities and scientifically planned the spatial layout and industrial structure of the north shore ecological wetland to build a lakeside plank road, with ecological resort characteristics of nature, health and leisure.
