The Spring --- A Song of Time
We listen to the beautiful voice of the spring as we stay and wait here.We get nutrition from the spring for thousand of years as we live here from generation to generation.
There is a spring city Jinan in the north, and Huaning is considered a spring town in the south. For thousands of years, 630 springs, big or small, are flowing out from the ground as a poetic and beautiful picture scroll.
No matter how time flies, Qixi Pool with large amount of water, Engyong Spring with clean water all year around, Putao Spring with lovely water droplets and Xiangbi Spring with comfortable temperature, are flowing gently and consistently, like a symphony played by spring band.
The Pottery -- Charm of Soil
600 years ago, a pottery craftsman named Chepeng left from Jingde town and traveled for thousands of mile and climbed end less mountains, then settled under Huagai Mountain and started the very first kiln fire in Huaning.
This is an ordinary village under the mountain Huagai, named Wanyao. For 600 years, the kiln fire Che Peng started has never been out here. In the best times, there were dozens of dragon kiln here. When fire was started in all the dragon kilns, the sky looked a red sea because of the reflection of the flames.

Nurtured by the springs over 600 years, Huaning pottery was passed down from generation to generation. Today, it became an industry which combines both international insight and ancient craft. With hard work and super skills, more and more works of art came into being from clay.
Huaning pottery, reborn from a legendary nirvana, carrying a mysterious ancient code, has gained its outstanding status.
Orange -- A Gift from Nature
Maybe its because of the nutrition in those springs, Huaning has another impressive scene composed by many fruit gardens, including oranges, persimmons and walnuts.
Being the place where oranges firstly become ripe all over China and the biggest orange base in Yunnan province, Huaning won the fame of “Hometown of Oranges”.
As the saying goes, the best scene of Huaning is September when oranges are turning yellow, for a season of harvest is the most charming one.
In every golden Autumn, the annual celebration-- Orange Festival will provide tourists with great joy.Named after a fruit, this festival is meant to convey the message of harvest.
Orange trees, persimmon trees and walnut trees are gifts from nature, nurtured by the springs, deep-rooted and vigorous. Famous fruit brands like “Qiuboxi” “Abeichu” “Dabaike” are taking leading roles in the market.
A rich land often brings out brilliant culture.
Today, Huaning presents you ancient culture and modern civilization, along with its blue sky, green lakes and amazing springs. Huaning, a balanced, harmonious and comfortable modern town, is taking big steps forward on its red land.
