The 13th Natural Mushroom Fair will be held from July 20 to July 24 in Yimen County
In recent days, the journalist learned from the organizing committee office that the 13th Natural Mushroom Fair would be held from July 20 to July 24 in Yimen County, Yuxi Municipality, Yunnan Province. The natural mushroom fair will be sponsored by China Association for Edible Mushroom and Yunnan Provincial Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. It will be undertaken by Yuxi Municipal Commerce Bureau and the People’s Government of Yimen County.
The fair will be divided into three areas with 600 booths, of which 200 booths are for mushroom commodities, 100 booths are for famous and super quality products, and 300 booths are for fresh natural mushrooms. During the fair，the opening ceremony will be held at the Stadium of Yimen County. The Awarding ceremony for “Research and Application Base for Natural Mushroom” and “Demonstration County for the Development of Characteristic Restaurants in Yunnan Province” will also be held. Besides, a lot of activities will be held.
Yimen County was honored as the China Yunnan Natural Mushroom Trade Center by the Commerce Department of Yunnan Province in July 2005. Yimen County has successfully held the fair for 12 sessions, and the total visitors has reached 2.59 million by 2016. The total trading volume has reached 12,000 tons with RMB 620 million yuan and the agreements with RMB 2.28 billion yuan signed on the fair by 2016. China Yunnan Natural Mushroom Fair has become a comprehensive trade platform for exhibition, trade negotiation, investment and tourism.
