Rao Nanhu Stressed Economic Transformation and Upgrading during Her Business Trip to Shanghai
From December 20 to 21, Rao Nanhu, Vice-secretary of Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Yuxi, took a business trip to Shanghai Electric Group and Shanghai Enjie Technology Co., Ltd. to expand further cooperation.
Addressed by Rao Nanhu, Yuxi will actively undertake the shift of well-qualified industry based upon the strategy of ecology for the city’s image, industry for its strength, innovation for its vatality and opening to the outside world for its prosperity, in hopes of promoting its economic transformation and upgrading.
Rao Nanhu stressed that Yuxi is highly favorable in location, ecological environment, cultural resources and industrial foundation. Currently, to ensure Yuxi take the lead to build a well-off society in an all-round way in Yunnan province, as is required by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit in Yunnan, more efforts are made in building a model of national unity progress, constructing ecological civilization, and forming a radiation center of southeast Asia and South Asia.
Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation is a leading domestic modern equipment manufacturing enterprise, whose branch company Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group signed “Wind Power Generator Manufacturing Project Strategic Cooperation Agreement” with Huaning in 2013, and its Yunnan Branch was registered in Huaning as well, to invest in manufacturing wind power electric generators. This project has produced 88 sets of wind power electric generators so far, with an output value of 480 million yuan(＄74.2 million).
Shanghai Enjie Technology Co., Ltd. is a company dedicating to research and production of high-quality lithium-ion battery separators, whose branch Yunnan Hongta Plastic Co., Ltd. is located in Yuxi National High-tech Zone.
Director Wu Boping from Yuxi National High-tech Zone Management Committee was on this business trip as well.
