Promote the Construction of “Digital Yuxi” as Top Priority
On May 18, 2020, Zhang Dehua, Mayor of Yuxi Municipal People's Government, led a team to visit the Operation Center of Digital Yuxi to inspect the project construction of the Digital Economy and Smart City. He stressed that leading cadres at all levels should pay more attention to the digital economy, take measures to promote “Digital Yuxi” in the forefront of Yunnan Province.
On the same day, Zhang Dehua and his team also went to the center to learn more about digital economy and the construction progress of smart city. They listened to the report of relevant municipal organizations and some enterprises on promoting digital economy in Yuxi.
Zhang Dehua pointed out that Yunnan Provincial People's Government paid more attention to the construction of “Digital Yunnan” , implemented “Cloud Plan”, designed new infrastructure, developed data factor market, built industry internet and sped up “Digital Yunnan”. It is a challenge for Yuxi, as well as an opportunity. If Yuxi wants to be in the forefront of the whole province, it is necessary to further develop the digital economy.
