E-commerce has developed rapidly and the sales of agricultural products have also caught the “Express Train of E-commerce”.

Huaning’s citrus is in season and on the market with dozens of workers busy sorting and packing in Juyuan E-commerce Co., Ltd’s packaging workshop located in Panxi Town. Freshly picked citrus is distributed from this facility through e-commerce channels. With a few simple and quick processes, Huaning oranges can be sold all over the country. Chen Yunyong, the manager in charge of Juyuan E-commerce Co., Ltd. said: “We are now on platforms such as Pinduoduo, T-mall, Taobao, JD.com and Suning.com, with some community platforms in first-tier cities. The daily order volume is between 8,000 and 12,000 and sales are expected to increase significantly.”

Panxi Town is the main area for Huaning citrus. In the past, customers from all over the world came to purchase citrus when it went to the market. Now, thanks to e-commerce companies, this door-to-door acquisition is gradually changing. Daily citrus orders come from all over the country.

In addition to the citrus, Ningzhou Xiang Food Co., Ltd., a local enterprise producing agricultural products, is doing well on T-mall, JD.com and other platforms, injecting new vitality into corporate product sales. The development of e-commerce has added wings to the sales of agricultural products in Huaning.
