Why is Fuxian Lake Back on CCTV Again?

Fuxian Lake in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, is the largest lake at the source of the Pearl River. It was called “Liu Li Wan Qing” or “vast and shimmering crystal waters” by the ancients for its crystal-clear water.
The water storage capacity of Fuxian Lake accounts for nearly 70% of the total water storage capacity of the nine plateau lakes in Yunnan. Water quality has been carefully maintained at class I for many years, with 91.4% water storage of the total state-controlled class I water. This is equivalent to storing 15 tons of class I water for each citizen.
