Zhang Dehua Led A Team to Guangdong and Jiangsu Provinces for Investment Promotion
From August 22 to 26, 2019, Zhang Dehua, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yuxi Municipal Committee and Mayor of Yuxi, led a team to Guangdong and Jiangsu provinces to promote the implementation of the cooperation framework between Yuxi and Sun Yat-sen University, and visited relevant enterprises relating the bio-health and health industries to conduct precise investment promotion.
On August 22, Liu Guanxian, Inspector of Guangdong Provincial Health Commission; Xu Yonggang, Deputy Director of Yunnan Provincial Health Commission, along with our city delegation paid a visit to Sun Yat-sen University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and the Tumor Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University to carry out the cooperation framework agreement between Yuxi Municipal People's Government and Sun Yat-sen University, and the joint construction of the Chengjiang Teaching Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, etc., and exchanged with the school and hospital leaders to promote the implementation of the project.
Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, ranks the first place among the top 100 counties with comprehensive strength in China. It homes a great amount of business from Taiwan and wins a title of “Taiwan Capital Fortress”. At the Symposium on Yuxi and Kunshan entrepreneurs held on August 26, 50 entrepreneurs from Kunshan, mainly Taiwan businessmen, exchanged with Yuxi delegation concerning industrial transfer, education, culture and tourism.
Zhang Dehua briefed entrepreneurs on the development of traditional and emerging industries in Yuxi, and said that Yuxi would maximize its role in advantages of ecology, resources and location, and try to cooperate with cities in coastal areas such as Kunshan in an all-round way to attract investment and gather firms from Taiwan. Mr. Zhang said that Yuxi would spare no efforts to create a business-friendly environment. All Taiwan businessmen are welcome to make a field trip to Yuxi.
During his visit in Jiangsu, Zhang Dehua also held talks with representatives of enterprises such as Suzhou Institute of Bio-medical Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology and Nano-Bionics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and conducted talks on the promotion of research and development of medical science and technology, achievement transformation, construction of an international medical health city and production of new materials.
