Six Key Tasks for Economic Development in 2020
The economic work conference of Yuxi on December 31th summarized Yuxi's economic work in 2019, analyzed the current economic situation and made a plan for 2020.
According to the conference, there are 6 keys to work hard for the economic development in 2020.
The first is to transform and upgrade industries in Yuxi and build an iterative industrial system. We will develop a number of hundred-billion-yuan industries such as cigarette and supporting facilities, mining, metallurgy and equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, biomedicine with plateau characteristics, and general health, and actively cultivate many hundred-billion-yuan industries such as cultural tourism, information and modern logistics.
The second is to win the three major battles with determination and effective measures, that is, poverty alleviation, pollution prevention and control, prevention and defusion of major risks.
The third is to strengthen the real economy and promote high-quality development. We will support the real economy with talents, capital, better policy and business environment.
The forth is to resolutely implement the new vision for development and continue to deepen reform, opening up and innovation.
The fifth is to accelerate the integrated development of urban and rural areas with quality and vitality. We should make efforts to optimize urban nodes, find the solution for traffic jams, create fine scenery and build beautiful roads. We should focus on urban upgrading and rural revitalization to improve urban quality and stimulate rural vitality.
What's more, we need to meet people's needs and improve people's wellbeing. We will put the people at the center of our development agenda, focus on the goal of building a moderately prosperous society at a higher level in all respects, and work to improve people's lives in a way that benefits all.
