Gaoyuan Sailing Team Competed in International Sailing Rally
Recently, the Gaoyuan sailing team - Fuxian Lake Youbilin team, which is jointly formed by Yunnan University and Fuxian Lake Industry and Education integration Base, appeared in the 2023 Shandong Port "Far East Cup" international sailing Rally, and 7 teams composed of nearly 100 sailors from 8 countries and regions such as China, Russia and South Korea competed.
The team set off from Qingdao, China, on September 1, via Vladivostok, Russia, and Mokpo, South Korea, after nearly a month of ocean sailing, successfully completed the race.
In recent years, relying on non-ferrous metal resources, Yimen County has planned and constructed a high-standard non-ferrous and rare precious metal industrial park, implemented actions to extend, supplement and strengthen the industrial chain, intensified targeted investment attraction for the entire industrial chain, and improved supporting facilities for upstream and downstream industries. It strives to achieve an output value of over 20 billion yuan by the end of 2025 and build itself into the "Platinum Capital of China". Up to now, there are 13 non-ferrous and rare precious metal enterprises in Yimen county. From January to August 2025, the total industrial output value reached 13.174 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.
