Development of the Whole Industrial Chain of Biomedicine in Yuxi
In recent years, to promote the development of the whole industrial chain of biomedicine, Yuxi has made every effort to build a cluster of "leading, supporting and serving the development of the whole industrial chain", and strived to create an important growth pole of Yuxi economy. There are 70 biomedicine and medical device enterprises in Yuxi, including 31 manufacturing enterprises. From January to November 2024, Yuxi biomedical industry chain achieved an output value of RMB 11.531 billion yuan.
In recent years, relying on non-ferrous metal resources, Yimen County has planned and constructed a high-standard non-ferrous and rare precious metal industrial park, implemented actions to extend, supplement and strengthen the industrial chain, intensified targeted investment attraction for the entire industrial chain, and improved supporting facilities for upstream and downstream industries. It strives to achieve an output value of over 20 billion yuan by the end of 2025 and build itself into the "Platinum Capital of China". Up to now, there are 13 non-ferrous and rare precious metal enterprises in Yimen county. From January to August 2025, the total industrial output value reached 13.174 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.
