Introduction

The land area expected is 200mu for 2 national and provincial key laboratories and workstations for academicians and experts, 2 AITC production lines aiming for an annual output of 1,000 tons, technology R&D center, raw material base, technology application demonstration base, production workshop and storage area, office and dormitory. Within a construction period of 3 to 5 years, the investment estimation is RMB 650 million.

Implementation Principle

The industry complies with all national industrial policies and catalogues for investment guidance, industrial development planning for new industrial area in central Yunnan Province and the overall urban development plan of Yimen County.

Construction Conditions

The project is located at the county town. The landscape is flat and easy to develop with convenient transportation. With plentiful and accessible sources for construction, geological and human conditions are up to the requirements and standards.

Supply of Main and Supplementary Materials and Availability of Labor Resources

Raw Materials: The forested area within the county is 1.69 million mu, making the forest coverage rate 72.16%. Traditional Chinese medicine resources are abundant. Barren mountains, soiled slopes and unoccupied lands can be used efficiently to plant raw materials such as horseradishes, wasabi and mustard. With convenient transportation, purchasing within the province can be realized as well.

Labor Resources: A sufficient labor force with a general price of about RMB 80 per day.

First-Phase Preparations and Progress

The feasibility study is complete. The park is convenient in transportation and has access to water and electricity.

Environmental Impact

The program meets all demands on relevant national laws and regulations. The construction and operation shall be strictly in accordance with relevant technical procedures, there should be no “three-waste” emissions and no bad effects on the environment.

Preliminary Economic Benefit Analysis
