Introduction

Built in Xinping Industrial Zone, the project plans to build 5 processing lines including walnut milk magma and beverage with a production capacity of 10,000 ton/year. Within an approximate construction period of 2 years, the project covers 80mu, and the total investment is RMB300 million.

The project complies with the state industrial policies and the industrial development plan of Xinping County.

Construction Condition

Xinping County is located in the southwest-central part of Yunnan Province, at the eastern feet of the central Ailao Mountains. The climate, water and wooded areas are suitable for cultivating walnuts. The cultivation area for the walnuts throughout the county amounts to 390,000mu. The farmers show high initiative and good management skills in walnut cultivation. Xinping County has a rather good dominance and infrastructure for walnut deep processing projects.

Supply of Main and Supplementary Materials and Availability of Labor Resources

Raw Materials: The yield of walnuts in Xinping County is 3,960 tons, with neighboring counties over 3,000 tons. In recent years, the planting areas and yields for walnuts have increased rapidly. With an expected yield of 20,000 tons, the main materials will meet with the needs of the project.

Supplementary Materials: Water, electricity and other supplementary materials needed in the project are in sufficient supply.

The price of industrial water supply is RMB2.85/m3; the lowest price of electricity is RMB0.324 kwh and the highest is RMB1.288 kwh performing the pricing standard in Yunnan Province.

Labor Resources: The population of Xinping County is 285,000, of which 220,000 is the labor force. The average salary of a laborer is approximately RMB1,800 per month.

The feasibility study has been finished and the selection of the project site has been done.

Environmental Impact

Advanced production technology and equipment is applied to the project. Various emissions meet with all requirements of environmental protection by taking necessary measures, which have little impact on their surroundings.

Preliminary Economic Benefit Analysis

When the project is established and put into operation, the annual output value could reach RMB400 million, the annual profit is about RMB 40 million and the taxes are over RMB30 million, with a payback period of around 7 years.
