Introduction

The main objective of the project is to build processing lines for EBHM so as to extract Erigeron breviscapus 5,000 tons and manufacture products like EBHM injection, EBHM lyophilized powder injection, Dengzhan Shengmai capsules and Erigeron breviscapus dropping pills. The project covers an area of 200mu and the construction period is 2 years.

Construction Conditions

The project is located near the urban area so that supporting infrastructures like transportation, water, electricity, water supply and drainage are mature with the accelerated pace of urbanization. It is fairly feasible with good construction conditions.

Supply of Main and Supplementary Materials and Availability of Labor Resources

The main building materials needed are sufficient within the county and the prices remain stable.

On one hand, erigeron breviscapus, the raw materials can be purchased from neighboring Honghe Prefecture. On the other hand, local farmers can be organized to plant it in Anhua and Xiongguan with an area from 3,000mu to more than 10,000mu later.

At present, there are more than 1,000 secondary technical school graduates requiring employment in Jiangchuan County each year and the surplus rural labor is over 50,000. Abundant labor resources perfectly fulfill the need of industrial development.

First-Phase Preparations and Progress

The zone has made relevant planning and it is now carrying out infrastructure construction. Besides, the construction land of 200mu is reserved for the project.

Environmental Impact

The content of the project is medicine planting and processing. The residue extracted is perfect organic fertilizer after fermentation. With natural gas as the fuel, the manufacturing process has little influence on the environment because of little water consumption and waste water discharging.

The total investment of the project is approximately RMB500 million.

Preliminary Economic Benefit Analysis

When the project is established and put into operation, it is estimated to realize the sales revenue of RMB350 million. Profit and tax can reach up to RMB80 million, taking comprehensive tax as 10%. The payback period of investment is 6 years.
