Introduction

Designed for making use of rich resources of argil and quartz in Huaning County, the project adds a small number of feldspar and other raw materials to construct a 6 million m2 ceramic plate production line. The project covers an area of 100mu, and the construction period is one year.

Construction Condition

The location of the project belongs to provincial industrial zone of Yunnan Province. Preparation works of a construction have been completed and land has been purchased and is in storage. The construction condition is good.

Supply of Main and Supplementary Materials and Availability of Labor Resources

The clay resource is distributed in an area of 14km2 in the county. There are 52 million tons proved reserves, over 9 million tons open-pit mining resources, and over 100 million tons prospective reserves. The clay contains Al2O3 at the average of 17%-18%, and Fe2O3 at the average of 4%-6% and a small proportion of TiO2. The labor force can meet the need. The minimum wage standard for employee is RMB1,070 a month. The annual salary for technologic worker is from RMB15,000 to RMB30,000 a year, and RMB12,000 to RMB20,000 for common labor force a year. The water supply has a completed supporting system. The electric price is charged in accordance with the unified price announced by China Southern Power Grid. The project has owned the qualification to conduct the construction.

First-Phase Preparations and Progress

The project has completed argil resource census, achieved water, power and traffic available in the Industrial Zone, held training for professional ceramic talents, and issued industrial supporting policies.

Environmental Impact

The project construction and operation insist on the principles of “clean production, discharge standards and quantum control” to control its impact on the environment within the limits permitted by national laws and regulations.

Investment Estimation and Fund Raising

The estimated investment is RMB300 million, and the way of raising fund is corporation self-financing.

Preliminary Economic Benefit Analysis

According to the local market price, the annual sales revenue is expected to reach over RMB800 million and the annual benefit reach RMB200 million accordingly. The expected investment payback period is about one to two years.
