Yuquan (Jade Spring) Park is popularly known for Black Dragon Pool. At the foot of the Xiangshan Mountain north of Lijiang City derives its name from the pool, which is as sparkling as jade and as clear as spring water. The entire park, tucked away in the shades of swaying willow trees, is covered with green grass. Under the Shuocui Bridge, a waterfall creates a constant roar as it cascades down the stream.

With the reflection of the Jade Dragon Mountain in the Black Dragon Pool, green willows stretching their soft branches and chestnut trees standing around, Moon-Embracing Pavilion (Deyuelou) beside the white marble Belt Bridge, and the Five-Phoenix Building (Wufenglou) that seems to be alive and ready to soar into the sky, the park is really a nice place to take a delightful stroll.
